This blog was very insightful. It basically says the same thing that you reposted so many times in the past weeks and by other bloggers that basically you just restructured your words and sentences in a different way..... nice one i thought sources and rumours were suppose to progress as time goes on or get a good piece of the puzzle to complete the story....

Its the same 3 teams in the mix of chicago, florida, and toronto. Thats the main story. He wont go to chicago since they are both in the west and are rivals no matter what chicago gives them return. Toronto and florida are both in the east so i doubt the nucks will care trading to either of them even if its toronto and burke and gillis are not the greatest for making trades with one another(could be a start now). Its down to florida or toronto in the end, hopefully it ends soon and gillis accepts an offer from either toronto or florida.

I agree with you, I'm only laughing cause I seem to recall Burke saying he didn't believe in long rebuilds. When he got the job in Toronto I'm pretty sure he said he'd have the leafs at least back in the play offs in three years max.

Yet his statements have not changed Tsn says the same thing but nothing changed there so i guess you have to repost it since luongo came out of hibernation and said likes florida because of his family etc etc he likes chicago because its a good hockey market( which toronto is as well) the fans are always there its a sell out loyal fans(which toronto has as well) which puts us in the mix and gillis stated luongo didnt say no to toronto.

Franson is decent but Gunner would improve your team tremendously. Then again, Franson could be the replacement for Salo's Right handed shot. Garrison can replace the overall shot.

I was actually just looking up what side Gunnarson plays, it's a shame that he'd a LD where we already have Edler, Hamhuis and Ballard. Garrison is also a LD but played the right side with Campbell in FLA. So I think trading for Franson, Bozak and a pick/prospect makes the most sense. Bozak would fill the 3LC hole and would center the second line while Kesler is out at the start of the season. Franson would be on the third pairing with Ballard.

If MG knows he can move Ballard to a desperate team, then Gunnarson makes sense.

Without appearing to be a troll, I would not be surprised if Vancouver ended the season anywhere from #1 to #4 in the NW pecking order. I also would not be surprised if Calgary falls anywhere between #2 and #5. What I am trying to say is Vancouver is an enigma, one pretty much equal to last yr yet with a questionable starter. So if they miss the playoffs and Calgary made them, I would not be shocked.

the only issue is the amount of money, i like the bozie, franson, part but something like lombo or something needs to go back.....just for the cap.....lombo is only 1 year.... so not that bad, or timmie c.... take one of those and i would but a 3rd and a conditional 2nd if we make the playoffs....

I believe he said five. I'm glad he's gone out and said that he isn't going to trade away our farm for a chance to make the playoffs next year. Also that he doesn't care if he gets fired which means to me that losing sucks ass but in order to win and build a playoff team you need to lose. He's also said that he's more then happy going into next year with the Reimer/Scrivens tandem.

What he said five years ago may have changed over the course of time. He's never actually fully rebuilt a team just tweaked them. I think when he came here he saw a team that could work in five years but obviously that's not the case. We still don't have a 1C for Kessel nor a 'for sure' goalie. I believe in Reimer, don't get me wrong, but having someone like Lindback, Bernier or Markstrom is a lot more assuring then a undrafted college kid in Scrivens and a concussed kid in Reimer. Catch my drift?
