This has nothing to do with value lol. The whole point in the Sabres getting a number one center is for Vanek and Pominville so trading one of them for a center is not exactly a great idea. And for the record, The worst homerism in all of hockeybuzz goes on in Blackhawks fan base.

Don't get rid of Vanek now when we seem to be getting bigger and stronger!! This is what he has needed all along a tougher bunch of linemates to help him out. Vanek is not overpaid or over hyped, it was called an Offer sheet and the club had basically no choice but to match, given we had lost Briere/Drury, there might have been a public revolution on the streets of Buffalo.

Just go and get Nash it at least takes some pressure of Vanek to a degree.

Their Gm already said they like their team and wont trade Couturier or Schenn, they need Defense, and Anaheim wants Coburn or Mezaros with Schenn or Couturier. I would bet the house Flyers wont get him.
