An opinion is not a fact and mine is an opinion and never once stated as a fact.Everyone has thier opinion that is what places like this are for.Calling one childish for stating thier opinion makes you the childish one and its another opinion as well. You ready to move on yet or just play fb games here ? - buffalo 1
WTF are you talking about?
Nash has been the top point producer on Columbus since he got there. That is a fact. The fact that you say the top point producer in Columbus is lucky to be playing in the NHL with all his "crying" is laughable.
Therefore your childish opinion about Nash is laughable. Get it? I use facts and you use opinions. |

Your point was not made.....
Teams like pits/washington/philly build around there superstars.
That means O,D,G. Columbus has pretty much failed in all parts.
I guarantee that wherever Nash goes he will have a career year. Why? Because wherever he goes is a upgrade over columbus.
Also you keep missing the point that i said Crosby is the best player in the world. I like how he is the only one you compare to with Nash. - Smittyx36
Crosby is the best player in the (World) ! Hum, is this based on world facts or an opinon? |

Take Leino for example. Look how horrible he is here. And then look at what he was able to do with briere. Briere made Leino that much better. There is no one that leaves Columbus and does way worse than they did when they were there. And the reason to that?? Nash is not that great of a player. Nash is a 60 some point scorer. |

I can't find Vanek's contract makeup. I'm curious to see how much he actually makes per year in the last 3 years of it. If he makes less than his cap hit, which he probably does because he was paid $10,000,000 his first year then it might be easier for Columbas or any other team to deal for him. |

No I could do it for the rest, cause my point is when you pay someone as much as Nash, and he supposedly this all world player, HE should be making the players around he better, he should not need to be traded to have a career year. Especially when I can rattle off players that he has played with that are better than other franchise players. - Mentalorgasm5
He played with Carter for half a year. That's the ONLY player from Columbus that comes even close to other franchise players.
Giroux has a much better suporting cast then Columbus? Right?
Ovi has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right?
Crosby/Malkin has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right?
Tampa has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right?
Chicago has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right?
San Jose has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right?
Vancouver has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right
NYR has a much better supporting cast then Columbus? Right
Prove me wrong in one of these PLEASE! You can't. Nash is rotting away on a terrible team. |

Leino? He wasn't good there. He had ONE OKAY year. 19G 34A. Other then that he had 4pts and 7pts. Terrible example. |

haha, he only played one full year there and had 53 pts, and that proves my point more, briere made him that much better that one year, NASH HAS NEVER DONE THAT FOR ANY OF HIS LINEMATES. |

Those aren't facts kiddo. I used facts you used opinions.
You would be laughed out of any NHL team if you told them Nash has been provided with a good group of players. |

garth should be tarred and feathered for writing this blog...getting rid of vanek would be a horrible mistake....for statsny...really!??!...come on...how about we wait and see how vanek plays this season when he stays is actually healthy. Half the reason vanek's production drops off is because he is fighting some sort of injury (the other half is mental). Both problems can be remedied now that we have gotten bigger and tougher. I'd be money that Ott and Scott now running around causing havok with kaleta and MaC teams will be alot less likely to take a run at our BEST player...vanek gets that extra .5 of a second to line up his uberaccurate shot and boom!...confidence back...no injury...back to a 40 goal season.......
on an unrelated note...i was just remembering that i was impressed with erhoff's leadership..he should get an A next season...really stepped up when this team was down |

Nash vs Vanek.....
You'd be hard pressed to find many ppl who don't think Nash is the better player
There's a reason it'd be Vanek + + for Nash and not the other way around
However,
Is Nash so much better that it's worth it to give up the "+ +" part of the deal?
Probably not
Nashville is asking a CRAZY amount back for Nash
Unless theyll take guys like Brennan, Adam, Catenacci, etc... (and I doubt they would... It's prob be more like Armia, McNabb, Pysyk, etc)
Then I'd say no to the deal
A Vanek for Nash deal is a lateral move anyways
We need to add a top6 winger without giving up any guys we have pencilled into the lineup...
Otherwise we'd still have a hole to fill...
So what would be the point? |

He only has this coming year and then one more year left
He makes 6.4m both seasons

Erhoff's turned out to be a major asset down the stretch and when he was injured our team had some major issues on the back end.I think his play has made Myers expendable in the right trade senerio. |

I agree I love Ehrhoff, but the organization will not part with Myers he is their one untouchable for some reason. |
