His supporting cast in much better then Nash's. And again Crosby is the best player in the NHL. I'm not comparing his skill to Nash.

seriously Kunitz is nothing great, sykora is nothing if anything good, guerin was washed up when he was there, so that leaves Malone as the best player Crosby has played with and he has a career high of 51 points? (malkin barely plays with crosby so you dont get that)

Umberger 57, 55 and 50 point season (malone has hit 50 once)
Carter who played there last year and then was traded and helped LA win the cup
Voracek who is a better offensive threat than Malone

I could name more, but it comes down to people like the idea of Nash more than the actual player Nash.

Voracek never broke 16 goals in Columbus. So at the time he wasn't better than Malone.

No I could do it for the rest, cause my point is when you pay someone as much as Nash, and he supposedly this all world player, HE should be making the players around he better, he should not need to be traded to have a career year. Especially when I can rattle off players that he has played with that are better than other franchise players.
