I get that 1st+Kulemin+Komi is probably in the ballpark for what Vancouver wants for Luongo, but Leafs can't afford to give up 1sts, and Kulemin just had one bad year. He will turn it around.

There are other, smarter options for the Leafs goaltending situation. Hopefully Florida overpays and this whole Luongo thing can just be done with.

It's still fifty million worth of cap space over ten years, even though Luongo is still good right now his best production has probably already occurred, we don't need to give up anything to take that kind of obligation on

If they MUST get someone...get Backstrom. Better contract (1 year vs 117 years in Luongo) and has put up very strong numbers no matter who is behind the bench or on the ice in front of him.
