A couple of Indian and Iraqi friends of mine say this kind of humid southern ontario heat is worse than anything from back home, for real

40 and humid and smoggy is brutal...I had total swamp ass and balls and was in a -22 walk in freezer for a while in shorts, walked out the briefs were frozen like when you leave a wet towel outside. It was awesome.

I just moved back here from Edmonton after 12 years and, well, yeah, she's a doozy. It only hit 30 out west about once every 3 years.

I just moved back here from Edmonton after 12 years and, well, yeah, she's a doozy. It only hit 30 out west about once every 3 years.

I remember being in death valley, 50 degrees... more pleasant than 30 in TO.

I don't actually mind it anymore, got rid of a lot of the extra insulation I had, so I'm good.

I think if that was the Canuck's prop osal Burke would look at it and say can I get as good goaltending in the next five or six years elsewhere and keep those guys, and he hates long deals. The Leafs are all set up to have contracts all expiring in the next three years, he's all about cap flexibility long term at this point. I'd be really surprised if they make a deal.

You may be right. I think this is more then fair for both sides. Canucks deal a superstar for a 3rd line center, 6 d and good prospect. The don't get huge return because of a bad contract.
As somebody mentioned on another blog, it probably won't happen for these to teams. There is a good chance one of the 2 teams gets burned in a trade like this. The 2 guys running the respective teams have a large dislike for each other and wouldn't want to be the one too get burned

I get that 1st+Kulemin+Komi is probably in the ballpark for what Vancouver wants for Luongo, but Leafs can't afford to give up 1sts, and Kulemin just had one bad year. He will turn it around.

There are other, smarter options for the Leafs goaltending situation. Hopefully Florida overpays and this whole Luongo thing can just be done with.

I used to work with this fat piece of trash that had such a bad hernia that it made his balls like that. He was so worried about making money that he refused to take time off to get it fixed. It was disgusting. The guy retired then died within a month. Look what all that money got ya fat ass.
