I've been holding out hope for Luongo a while now, but to be honest after hearing his interview the other day, he seems to have no fire burning in side of him. He's looking for a quiet walk into the sunset in FLA,>>> Let them have him, all the Leafs really need is an Average Goalie who can post a GAA under 3 and a SV% above .900

Why the "F" would Minnesota sign Parise & Suter to MONSTEROUS deals than trade away their proven #1 goalie? Sign these guys than go with a goalie who's not proven to be #1? I doubt any GM would be dumb enough to hand the reigns of the #1 goaltending job to a non-proven goalie, well any GM who isn't named Burke that is.

We get that type oof goaltending for season 2012/2013 and it will be 8 seasons & no playoffs. That type of goaltending will not be good enough for a team that has more holes than Swiss cheese. We need a goalie that will go Cujo (1999-2002) or Belfour (2002-2004) on our ass.
