He had a very good year, but no way he's top RW in the league. Not yet anyways. - gravyface
And other leaders like Iggy, Alfie and Callahan.

I get that you are a troll and everything. At least if you are going to troll, try to be realistic.
Semin is soft, Grabovski and Kulemin are not soft, not at all. In fact, among the Leafs forwards those two are the last ones I would call soft (except maybe Brown).
now, Connolly between Kessel and Semin... THAT is soft. - GoneFullRetard
I think its safe to say Kulemin is soft. |

yes, but sadly, this can not be discussed without being branded an idiotic goggle wearing kool-aid drinking homer. - Big_Lightnin

What do you think of the Leafs making a run a Semin, and signing him to play with Grabovski and Kulemin on a line... - ThePresident
IF the Leafs had any brains, they'd be going hard after Doan, not only is he a great player, he's the exact kind of leadership this team is for.
He could teach that captain of ours a thing or two. |

I think it'd be a hard sell for a established veteran leader to come play on a team with captain caveman picking the music.

RW/C - robin_steele264
He'd be up there in my books too.
Maybe the Leafs can get him for nothing and have him play down the middle as well like seemingly every other winger in the game... |

Overpay him. That's one overpayment I wouldn't mind. |

The price is ridiculous I'd go Bozak and a late pick and no more. He just isn't worth it and Gillis doesn't have a choice but to move him. |

Don't we have a (frank) load of cap space? I would give Doan whatever he wanted to come play here for a year. |

I don't think it's about money with Doan
its either Phoenix or a shot at a cup |

Neal, Hossa, Gaborik, Kovalchuk, Kessel.... Eberle - robin_steele264
Gaborik was a no show in the playoffs. Therefore in my eyes he isn't really elite. Kessel can perform in the playoffs from what we saw in Boston so that's why I would say he's bonafide. Neal and Hossa I agree with as well. I'd substitute Gabby with Iginla or Perry. |

Kulemin and Grabo aren't soft? They aren't freight trains by any means but I've seen Kulemin lay people out, and Grabo is small but he is never shy from contact. Have you ever seen him play against Boston no fear.
Kessel is soft, Connolly is soft, Bozak is soft but no grabo and kule |

Neal or Hossa Id say - robin_steele264
Neal is fine, but having an MVP Center turn you from 25-30 goal scorer into a 40 goal scorer.
I wouldnt put him with the top 5

Gaborik has performed well in the playoffs before... just as relevant as Kessel's playoffs performance from years ago.

Yeah I agree, but I'm sure he has a price. Don't we have 12 mil cap space? after we resign the RFA's offer Doan the rest 8 mil for a year? |
