Why does a goalie have to be coming back in the trade? Aren't backup goalies a dime a dozen? Frankly don't want Theodore. Sooner pick up Labarbara.

First off, this hockey insider has no sources and that's a proven fact(Was wrong about Parise and Suter and there obviously was never a "verbal agreement" with those 2). Second, it's been reported by actual insiders that MG will not make a trade that includes a salary dump, especially Komisarek when he already has a lot of $$ committed to his defense. And he doesn't like dumping players to the AHL.

I'd rather have one of Clemmenson or Theodore, because they are capable of 25-30 starts. I think we're playing with fire if we expect Schneider to start 60+ games next year, that's a big jump and he hasn't proven he can handle that at the NHL level yet.

Oh yeah, Weiss or Versteeg either. Will not happen. I actually ammend that to say Kulikov may be included in a deal. You guys can have Jovo back too. It just isn't worth our future. I am one of the many fans hoping this deal does not go down unless we get some scoring back as well. Theodore has to go the other way, along with a contract. If one of our top guys goes back, we riot. Hey, you guys can help us out with that, right?

Gillis will not take Komi, but Lombardi would work-he would be a demon on the PK. Gillis will still insist on a good roster player in addition to that, however.

The prospects and/or draft pick willl work itself out based on which good roster player is included.

I always wondered why players wanted to go there in the first place? I have never been there but I would think it is not that pretty of a city in fact I get the impression it looks like a crime scene. I know they had good management but living in a city with one of the highest crime rates would not be a free agent magnet.

Yes, this years playoffs Kessel had 2 less points than Daniel Sedin.
