I still think Garth should make an offer to Semin. I would imagine he's kicked some tires but get him in here to score some points. Our defense and goaltending is fine - Isles need offense.

Wouldn't also mind taking a chance on Wolski or Mueller.

If you are a die hard Islanders fan, you have to know this team doesn't make big moves.

For those who think the Islanders have a chance to sign a player like Semin, Don't hold your breath. And for those who get upset that they never do, stop being a fan of the team.

I've learned 2 years ago, it's not worth the aggravation. I bleed Orange and Blue. So I take the team for what it is and hope for the best. And I truly believe if they can stay reasonably healthy, they will be fun to watch. Maybe even fight for a playoff spot.

Once their lease is up and we have a clearer vision of their future, we will start to see some exciting moves. I just hope it's still in the New York area.

This team was rebuilding from the ground up!!

When we started we had nothing.

Our prospects were ranked 28th overall by Hockey Futures.

Today... we are # 2!!!

Great progress.

Now.... it is time to make some trades and make this team better.

I know it's hard to understand for some of you!!!

But when you start fresh with a rebuild... it takes time!!!

We were told in the beginning it would take 5 years.

We didn't tank enough to be the Oilers.... so some of the prospects are hit and miss.

They are 18 year old children when we draft them

They shouldn't be in the NHL until @ least 20 yrs old.

Alot of you guys just don't understand the way it works.

This isn't Football.... they get drafted out of College!!!

The kids we draft are out of highschool.

They need time to develop.
