I think most of our fans have given this a chance. I mean we are not getting better and usually with a rebuild there is an improvement each year.

I guess trying to improve your team while rebuilding isn't that important?? What GM doesn't trade a UFA to be at the deadline during a rebuild? Is that part of doing his job? Is not knowing what Identity you want for your team year to year doing your job? Also some of his 1st rd selections are curious at best. Time will tell I guess but it doesn't take much skill to put together a crappy team and have a high pick each year. Putting a full blown rebuild into the hands of a backup goalie and thinking it will turn out good is wishful thinking. Lets hope Snow defies all the odds and actually turns this team into a powerhouse. I highly doubt it but you never know

How did Edomonton do last year. They have been even worse over the past 3 or 4 years and have received all the #1's...and still they sucked..

I didn't say that...Just pointed out a fact..

Hey, the Leafs have been trying to improve each year and they still suck, The Mighty Habs got bad fast,,,poop happens.

Teams need some luck as well to rise quickly..

That's the Gary Player addage, the more I practice the luckier I get.

I just hope the team gels and grows this year. It is going to be a big year for some of these kids. It is Crap or get off the pot time for many. Next year, Snowy could be in a world of hurt, or in a great place. Only time will tell.

I guess trying to improve your team while rebuilding isn't that important?? Where hasnt he tried to improve the team??
What GM doesn't trade a UFA to be at the deadline during a rebuild? I have stated numerous times that that was an epic fail
Is that part of doing his job? See Above
Is not knowing what Identity you want for your team year to year doing your job? He knows
Also some of his 1st rd selections are curious at best. Only one i can think of is Bailey
Time will tell I guess but it doesn't take much skill to put together a crappy team and have a high pick each year. Worked for the Penguins from 02-06, worked for LA from 03-09, worked for the Hawks 03-08.. to name a few... im not saying.. im just saying
Putting a full blown rebuild into the hands of a backup goalie and thinking it will turn out good is wishful thinking. WHY??? Players step into important roles within organizations all the time what does it matter if he was a starter or back up, a goalie or forward??
Lets hope Snow defies all the odds and actually turns this team into a powerhouse. I highly doubt it but you never know :lol:LOL.. your odds

Every year these same statements are made. Along with my favorite, "He has to sign players to reach the cap floor"... Unfortunately with these same statements come the same results.

He knows what Identity he wants for this team?? Really?? One year their tough the next year they're soft and now they're tough again. He drafted smaller fast players and now he is drafting guys who are big. He is all over the map. He has no clue on how to build a team. You have no problem with a GM who has no experience at all at being a GM and putting him in charge of a complete rebuild starting from scratch??? Would you hire somebody to build up your company who had absolutely no experience in the field you're in? Yeah those other teams who rebuilt over time and had success had GM's who knew what they were doing. Not clowns off the street

Edit. Bailey, Trading up twice to take Dehaan, Nino at 5??

Problem is the Oilers are not addressing there needs. Which is goaltending and defense. It is like the Islanders they do the same thing they never address what is needed for the team. I will say the Islanders did better this year addressing defense but offense is also a horror show. That has still not been addressed. Do I see the Islanders making the playoffs with the team we have? No way but I do hope they prove me wrong

With the team they have assembled now they will not make the playoffs. It does not take a genius to figure that out. Anyone who thinks this is a playoff team is nuts, plain and simple.
