Pavelski is one of the top faceoff guys in the league every year, is good for 25-30 goals, plays the PP, the PK, and is a GREAT 2 way center. He has also played in over 60 playoff games and is known for scoring some huge goals for us in the post season. He tied Nash in points 2 seasons ago, and outscored him last year.
At half the salary, I'll take Pavelski over Nash any day.

For a top C with "size", that is undersized. Normally when people talk about a top C with size, they are talking 6'3/4+ and 220/5lbs+, big difference...basically Getzlaf-sized. - mventres
Yes I understand what people are talking about. There are a handful of guys like that which are a #1C. He still has size, he is not Derek Roy etc etc. |

Please someone just take Luongo and Raymond. We'll take a hat, a jersey, and your biggest footlong hot dog. Throw in a refillable coke and we'll even give you Weise!!! GET 'ER DONE! - akira55

It's prob Thornton ....just dont see Getz or Perry going anywhere...that would be foolish for Ducks...Ryan will be traded before they do - JIMI-JAMES
Guarantee you it is Getzlaf. Ducks GM Bob Murray is trying to destroy the franchise by the day and I guarantee you that Bobby Ryan will not be on the team by opening night and now he seems on a mission to deal Getzlaf as well by the beginning of the season.
Plus, he likes to give his former boss Brian Burke all of his good assets and in return get nothing in return. He took Beauchemin off your hands for Gardiner and Lupul and he also took Jason Blake and his albatross contract off your hands as well.
Seems poised to do it again. Getzlaf for some mid level prospects. |

Agreed, I doubt any team is willing to part with anything more than that. |

Eklund, Bob McCown said today that he knows for a fact that Burke has very little if any interest in Luongo at this point. I'll take his word. |

No doubt that burke hasnt done much for the now but damn toronto's future is looking bright, we got big prospect like holzer, biggs, ashton, and colbourne, and the skill of kadri, rielly frattin if these kids can pan out toronto can have a great future. - LEAFSfan28191
I think you're counting those chickens a little too soon, bud. Those (frank)ers haven't even been laid yet, let alone hatched. |

If you're a 7 million dollar man and supposed "elite" player you get it done no matter who you're playing with. See Joe Thornton when he first arrived in San Jose. |

Marleau has a NMC. His wife is from San Jose and they have a young family here, Patty have been here since he was 18 years old. As much sense as it makes, it won't happen |

They will be more skilled for sure but they lost some toughness. We shall see how it turns out. They could be good this year. |
