I am too. But im more glad that we didn't get him. We didn't need him, and the price would have screwed us over in the long run. I would much more happy with doan. But yeah, hopefully this puts them on the map so to speak, and give the canucks a little more trouble this year.

I would think that if the team folds and is dissolved that would void all of the contracts and everyone would become free agents. The players would then be free to sign with whoever they want and would likely have an opportunity to go after the league to recoup the full or partial remainder of what was owed on their contract. But I'm not a lawyer so who knows.

It would have been nice, but to see brown in another jersey.. its not worth it. Parise had his mind set on going home. I dont blame him, but i don't think its a good idea, if he wanted to win a cup. but thats just me.
