The thing is that nash and howson are trying to get him out. According to ducks management ryan has not asked to be traded. I'm just saying that's the asking price. If you want to make a trade then you'll have to start increasing your offer. We don't have to trade ryan like columbus needs to get rid of nash. I'm one of the few ducks fans that loves the guy. I would be much happier seeing him remain with the team. It's going to take a stellar offer to get him.

I wouldn't fault Ryan's play on this...I think at the end of the day, Ryan just happened to call Murray's bluff. I think Murray was tossing his name around to test the waters to see if any GM would be desperate enough to offer something retarded... Believe me, if he is traded, he will be missed. Any team that picks him up will absolutely love his play, and Anaheim will rue the day they left it up to Murray to blow apart the stanely cup team that Brian Burke built

Maybe the ducks are asking for couts/schenn, reid and a pick for ryan .. but that probably isn't what they are going to end up with. I think after the public demand to be traded by Ryan, the ducks have to move him, true, there are many suitors but I don't see anyone overpaying too much for him.

18 year old kid who plays like a man. Probably a better skater than Cam Fowler and he's bigger. What was most impressive was his best day was the second day scrimmage when you could tell fatigue had set in and he was still flying. I REALLY want to see how he plays in the pre-season. I think there's an outside chance he makes the team.

Hardly. I think Foligno is the odds-on favorite to be rookie of the year and I think you saw Ennis take off when he was moved to center towards the end of the year. That line nearly carried them into the playoffs. I like Ryan a lot - that is just too much to pay. You'd have a point if I was offering up guys like Sekera or Luke Adam.
