Stastny is not an elite center or a #1 center on a good team. Why bother? We stay small, we stay unelite, we over pay in salary, we miss the playoffs.....cycle repeated. - Gunslinger
I disagree: if you mean, Stastny is not Sidney Crosby, ok, I agree. He's still a #1 center. |

On a contending team he is not, he is a number 2 center on a cup contending team IMO. |

Could say the same about Krejci. But they won with him in the 1 hole. |

Devils made it to the Finals without a stud #1 center as well. Nashville does alright with not much of a top 6 let alone #1 center. |

It's definitely harder, but it is doable. For me, Toronto needs to at least upgrade down the middle if they can't find a #1. Two good #2s will have to do. |

I agree and goaltending has to be a priority over center anyways. |

Yes, it's the driver's fault.
Stupid driver. - Atomic Wedgie
What's your point?
It certainly can't be ME and my 30 or so handicap. Of course, I might not have a 30 handicap if I could hit my drive onto a fckuing fairway every now and then. |

I had that problem with my old driver. Then you go "Alright (frank) IT, I am going to turn my body 45 degrees and play into it."
Then you drill it pin.(frank)ing.straight. |

Sounds like you havent hit a fairway since the 1st Bush Sr administration. The folks on the hab threads swear by all the new fancy clubs, maybe you need those fancy new clubs, maybe they will help your game some. |

Been doing some research into common slice problems. I have a few things to change, first up will be my grip.
If i Open up my stance ridiculously I also get straighter off the tee.
I just refuse to be one of those guys who faces 45 degress againt his slice and plays into it.

My club is new like a month ago, A sweet new Taylor Made.
As far as other new clubs... I really need to figure out how to hit a hybrid, but that is a lower priority for now. Instead, I still use my favourite club from my old set (3-iron) |

I have a pretty unusual stance but it works for me. I also worked out my slice by really focusing on pushing the club in a straight line as opposed to just trying to swing through the ball. |

Honestly anything you would possibly like to know about golf and clubs etc, awaits you on the habs thread, some serious (frank)ing golfers over there. Ask them. They bantered on and on about their fancy new clubs a few threads ago, so ask them. |
