Stastny's been struggling offensively, but so has the rest of the team, as they don't have many finishers.

He could use a change of scenery, but he could also improve simply by getting some wingers who can bury the puck.

If Colorado feels that it's the former, they're more likely to deal him, but it's possible they consider dealing him for scoring help either way.

In neither scenario are they gonna let him go cheap. His cap hit isn't a problem for Colorado, so it's not an incentive to move him... but it does impact his value.

It's possible that they'd trade him for a few lesser scoring wingers, but chances are, if they're moving him, it's for a 1st line scoring winger, perhaps one in a similar situation.

After reading the trade proposals in this thread I only have a couple of questions:

1. Where can I get the drugs you guys get?

2. Why would Colorado want to trade a highly paid player when they are still 2 mil below th cap floor and have 21 players signed and aren't likely going to be able to sign a high payed free-agent?

Andre Markov and his nerf knees are doing well. He has made.millions not playing for the hand, but getting paid by them. I'd say he's pretty awesome

that's the thing though, this has nothing to do with Cap Hit, it has to do with Actual Money.

Their ONLY incentive for moving him is financial. (They may NOT move him, but if they do, it's to save money).
