I'll be shocked if Haley plays more then a handful of games with the big club. With Asham , Rupp & Bickel I don't see where he fits. Great scrapper for his size. Boulton is bigger then him and that might help but from purely fighting skill haley is much better

Maybe Torts pushes the right buttons & finds something in him, much like Prust was little more than a fighter when we got him 2 years ago. Maybe, but most likely Haley is in the A, called up with injuries or a rivalry game where extra tougness is needed.

The more I think about it...the more I think minn made a HUGE mistake signing identical contracts for parise and Suter...parise is a 6.5mm max player and Suter really isn't THAT good of a d-man...he looked good because of weber...I still stand behind my original opinion that we dodged a ball and chain contract when parise bolted...if we took on that contract you can say goodbye to any decent depth on the team

When he mentioned he wouldnt sign with the Rangers it brought a smile to my face. You dont see that a lot in sports. (ex: Johnny Damon and others)

But I think this hurts this franchise a ton. Kovalchuk is not a C or should he be. Neither is Clarkson Devil fans. I know you guys love him and should but the dude cant shoulder that load.

I think Salvador should be the C. He will be there 3 years to groom the "youts" and is a character guy.
