She get naked?

I was dragged to Take this Waltz, and I have to say I never though I would see Sarah Silverman naked and I wish i hadn't.

Well if Quebec separates then obviously there would be a separatist government in place wich should be consequent with the will of the people since, well, they've voted to separate.

I dont think anyone is asking for a lack of government here, we're asking for one that looks after the interests of Quebec, not their own and those of their corporation-owning "friends".

I'm not saying they will be that way without Canada.

I was asking if he didn't want a government involved at all.

Whether Quebec Separates or not they will still have the same Polititians in place running your Province/Country

But if they Separate they won't have anyone to blame for their poor management.

And we'll have full control of how the 50% or so of taxes will be spent. 'Cause having more prisons, bringing back the death penalty and financing fossil energies are not popular politics around here.

What's ironic though is that the separatist movement, for the most part, are bigger spenders than the federalist ones. Thing is everyone acknowledges the fact that they'll have to cut on the fat in the budgets.

That will not be an easy pill to swallow for some.

Don't you guys vote for the people in power now?

Those people are not going to go anywhere, the ones that are not "separatists" now, will change their tune and say what they need to say to get the majority vote.

It's what Polititians do, they are all the same, it's a job where they can make good money and they have a great retirement plan.

Separating will not magically change Politicians

More money for the polititians to squander.

What happens when you separate and nothing changes for the regular joe, who will the polititians have to blame for their problems then?

Oh i agree and like i said (in french however) before, this is why you need fresh political parties. Old parties become electorialist machines who lack conviction and will do anything just to get back to power. There is one in Quebec right now with a great platform proposing reforms of the electoral model and political financing rules as well as sovereignty. That's who i intend to vote for.

No i haven't.

All I know about Iceland is that they wanted to use the canadian dollar and we said no, that and I will probably be going their own a vacation next year.

But what is happening in iceland that makes you think that all the career polititians in quebec will disapear when you separate?

Je sais pas encore si je vais voter stratégique ou selon mes convictions. C'est ben beau les onistes, mais s'ils vont chercher un 5% et que QS va en chercher 6-7, Charest risque d'être réélu.

I'm not sure about that. I mean, yeah, there most probably wont be a "ON wave" and they probably wont get many seats but they might get their fair share however. Aussant was talking about the unbelievable increase in ON party members since the beginning of the year, he seems confident that he'll get at least a few people in and that'll be for the best. ON, in my opinion, have to replace the PQ. Slowly but surely.
