It's called The Damien Cox syndrome. If everyone says white, because, well it is most likely the most logical thing to say, then say black. You'll get a reaction for sure.

Have to ask; do you really think the team's as bad as they played last season?

Not saying they're great, or on their way to that this season. But are they as bad as they showed last season?

- EricEngels

If we have fewer injuries it might get us an extra point or 2.
A full season of Gionta, Markov...and an improved bottom 6 for the final minutes of games should help as well.

Not contenders yet.

Haven't ever seen him play a full game. But I happen to be connected to real scouts, from teams that play in the National Hockey League--broadcast on real national television. And they tell me he could be in the league next season. For real.
- EricEngels

I demand a list of every players ever drafted by those scouts.

Well congrats for the connections Eric.

I would like Pateryn to be as good as you, or those real scouts, make him out to be, it would be better for the team I cheer for.

I personally don't think he's ready, but somehow that makes me a liar.

Don't worry, I'll be here if Pateryn ever makes it rightaway this year, and I'll correct my thoughts if they were wrong.

\I have a hard time seeing this team being better. The main issues ( scoring ) haven't been dealt with.

I doubt Prust + Arm + Bouillon bring more goals this season.

How can you defend someone watching a webstream on a laptop over someone who has talked to actual people who have actually scouted him?

I'd say he's behind Tinordi, Beaulieu and Ellis on the depth chart... wich would normally mean he's less NHL-ready than those guys..
- PRICEless

He's behind Nash and St-Denis too.

Gionta and Markov make us 10-20 points in the standings better. Plus PK, Pacioretty, DD, and Emelin a year further in their development more than compensated for Cole regressing back to the mean.

Pateryn might be a call up during the year because he is the oldest of that new group of prospect on defense, and he is probably the one that is stronger physically because of his age, but I doubt he wins a spot at training camp

For Jagr, what's the use? No need to handcuff your team to an aging forward like that (plus, didn't he got 2 years in Dallas?). I understand the need for entertainment, but I doubt that with Therrien the Habs will play a conservative style like they did with Martin.
