And you'd be right if we're talking on-ice performance. TV ratings say otherwise. Colorado can't come close to selling out their building anymore. The fans were spoiled early on, plain and simple.

For a guy with a $6.6 million dollar cap hit, that's asking an awful lot IMO. If you wanted to move him, you would probably have to take on another teams problem as well.. Maybe a situation change type move where two teams send a player that needs a change of scenery to get him going again.

...it's a joke for crying out loud laugh! It wasn't Stastny in particular just that seems the going rate for good to great players these days. Its like a trade handbook,the dummies guide to trading. Oh, you want so and so.....well it'll cost you 2 roster players, a top prospect and 2 1st rounders.

I'm not going to lie, I hate the Parenteau signing for you. I like the Avs and I hope you prove me wrong though.

I feel the same way. Usually unis with different colors aren't always my favorite, seems to be hit or miss... But I really like the Avs unis.

Party Boy apparently. Just young and immature approach to the game. Story floating around before he got traded was he went to Vegas during the allstar break and just got destroyed, Management got tired of him and shipped him off.

i'd be fine trading Foligno if the package was right. He's not a can't miss world beating prospect. He got really hot on his call up, but I don't expect him to keep that pace either. After all he's really just a baby in NHL terms.

Nah, Colorado is irrelevant for the time being. They haven't been worth talking about since Brunette's OT winner in 03. Fans aren't coming to games anymore. I hope the market is rejuvenated. I'm just speaking the truth.

The Avs have plenty of great fans, which is why there's so many commenting in this letting buffalo fans know stastny is off limits and ive been to every Colorado game in buffalo for a while and every time there are so many Colorado fans it amazes me so I'd say theyre a pretty popular franchis

Deadmarsh was one of my favorites when I was younger.

He trains in the offseason with his brother, and look at how well his career has turned out. I always had doubts on his dedication to the game, he did quit hockey at 16 to try and be a football player. Didnt pan out so he came back to hockey. Never really trusted his dedication.

I'm not saying that there aren't great Avs fans. I'm saying that many fans were ridiculously spoiled THE first season of the team's existence, and they have since tapered off in terms of support since the franchise hasn't been contending for the Cup.
