I'd do that... depending on the plus, but that prospect pool isn't the greatest. It would suck to lose McNabb, but for Nash I figured it would start with Ennis, McNabb, and more.

if it meant trading Pommer and Sekera to get possibly the best D-Man in the game today... I would heavily HEAVILY consider it...

It doesn't leave us much else to trade in order to add offensive firepower to replace that though.

i'll take it w/a grain of salt...but a buddy of mine has a friend that works for the Preds, just told me the Preds contacted Buffalo about Pommer an Sekera!!!!! Also, he was hearing a Luongo for P' Kane possibility!!!

I dont know why Leaf and Sabre fans believe Stastny can be had at minimal players. He isnt an elite centremen, but he is still a very good 1st line centremen. When Roy got a good piece in Ott and a decent player in Pardy, what do you think you would have to give up to give Stastny, at least 2 decent forwards to get the conversation started.

And im sure the Avs wont listen unless they can squeeze Foligno out of you. You dont want to give him up and we dont want to give Stastny up.

Weber may not be able to... Depending on what the new CBA says. I'm pretty sure the league is gonna try and get rid of those long long deals.

IMO if San Jose is making any deal, it will be Thornton or Marleu...Gotta think that Pavelski is the guy their gonna build around, with Couture.
