18 months ago, my family adopted 2 puppies from a rescue service down here in the southern tier. Brother sister pair, from some where in bumfarck Georgia, they were scheduled to be put down with the rest of their litter 30 minutes before the rescue service was able to save them. Their mother was an aussie sheppard, were pretty sure they have different fathers though. I'll say this, I don't think I'd ever go a different route. Those rescue services do so much, and make next to nothing, and you get a nice feeling knowing that you saved those pups from being put to sleep!

Remember to help control the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered!

Many many people think they can "buy" a better dog than yours much the same way you can purchase a better car or TV. Ironically those people frequently end up with pain in the ass dogs with mad health problems, then they shell out more money to the breeder(thief) and tell me thier dog is better than mine because it cost more.


My dogs are better roomates than actual roomates I've had and let me down less than Darcy Regeir!

Yeah, because he's not North American... He's a euro.

If you're a non North American, and have never played in the CHL you can go to the AHL at 18. Homer said the other day that his guy claimed they were going to try and sign him, and have him play in Rochester this season.

Personally, I'd have him play in Rochester, or if that doesn't work, send him to Kelowna... I like College hockey, but I feel like the situation is better in Kelowna seeing how our scout is an Assistant coach there.

He can throw his body around a bit too
It's an interesting situation for him
Sending him to college or the AHL will prob focus more on the defensive side of his game
It seems like in juniors, they focus more on offense
I'm interested to see what they think is the best course of action for his development

We've actually only ever had mixes. In fact, they always happen to have aussie in them.

My last dog lived 14 years, got her when I was 6 years old. Ultimate protector. My mom has said having her around was like having a 3rd parent. As long as she was outside with us while we were playing, my mom was never worried.

She had a sense for trouble too, my mom could wake up to a mouse crawling around, some ass tried to break in our garage years ago. She scared him off with just a few barks.

The new ones don't let one person walk by without giving them a holler either.

We need 1 more bonified center on this team and I'm ready for the season!
