When Roy got a good piece in Ott and a decent player in Pardy, what do you think you would have to give up to give Stastny, at least 2 decent forwards to get the conversation started.

Stastny is a lot like Luongo. Everyone knows he's a great hockey player but that contract destroys his value. If he was making Roy type money I'd be more inclined to give up more.

I agree his contract is over priced but he signed that when he was on a point per game pace for 2 seasons. It looked like good value at the time.

Hes still a good top 1A/1B centreman, would be a welcome addition on most teams and would be a strong 2nd liner on other teams.

Not even close to Luongo. Stastny has 2 years left on his deal whereas Luongo has 10. Plus with the cap at 70 mil Stastny's contract isn't that bad.

We have three Ennis, Hodgson, Grigorenko. Our only problem is that they are too young. And really Is Stastny that much of an upgrade over Ennis. Especially at his cap hit?
