I actually saw a fair amount of stuff on both potentially signing there. Parise is from Minny and Suter wanted to be closer to home in Wisconsin. The fact that Parise had a good chance of signing there probably stirred up a little interest in Suter. |

Reminder though, the NHL is going to realign as part of the new CBA. So if the Northwest is radically redefined it might only be for one season.
I got excited because I thought Minnesota might eventually get strong enough to knock off Vancouver then I remembered this. |
