And the North Stars went to the SC in '91 with a losing record in the regular season. Bottom line is that Calgary is in a terrible spot and Feaster is an awful GM.

He's only had 2 drafts as GM, and really just over a year at the helm. Draft picks take time to develop. I'm willing to give them the time to do so.

Sorry if I'm too rational for you...

Tons of GM's would love to have Bouwmeester, except his cap hit is just too much.

A team that would add him wouldn't be looking for him to fill a PP QB role either.

Perfect rental scenario.

Your arguments suck.

Is it an argument when i just repeat what you wrote a couple posts ago?

Trading Jbo will be as easy as trading Lecavalier or Redden or Gomez

What exactly, I ask, could Feaster have done since he took over in May....2011.....that the team would currently be far better?

Honestly.

Common now. Give the guy time to make the moves neccessary to retool this team and bring in better assets through draft and trades. I sincerely believe he understands where the team lies and what needs to be done as hes expressed a few times now that the team needs younger, more talented assets. But its not like he can go and take out a second mortgage and buy new ones.

If he can get a feel for Jerome and make it known that he may entertain a trade before the deadline, he could get this team on the right path much quicker than most feel.

Blown the team up and gotten a pile of prospects to rebuild a team with his 'vision' rather than based on what may or may not be available for overpayment... as a start...

Wow! The Wild really scored big here. Wonder what the Red Wings are going to do now. I thought Suter was a shoe-in to wind up a Wing.

this is a joke!

Both of these guys got Crosby money.

Suter isn't even the best defenseman in Nashville. Parise out of the last 4 years has scored less than 69 pts or less TWICE!

how do these guys get his money???

I'm just happy they went to the west!

the east is weak and just got weaker.

You're including a year where he only played 13 games because of injury

Getting better return for Regehr than Chris Butler, not trading a 2nd for a contract with only one year left on it (Kotalik), trade JBO, draft Girgensons or Faksa instead of Jankowski, don't sign Dennis Wideman to such a huge deal, don't sign Jiri Hudler to four years, go on Weight Watchers, etc...

You do realize that LeMaire is no longer our coach, right? We run the same system as Pitt. Way to know your schit!

Suter and Parise each make $12 million the next two seasons, $11 million the year after that, five years of $9 million, then $8 million, $6 million, $2 million, $1 million and $1 million the last five years. This includes $10 million signing bonuses the first two years, meaning $2 million in-season salaries

They're going to have to overpay Carle. Who else is available?
Think they should hang onto their prospects, and this talk of getting Nash is ludicrous. They need help on D before anything else.

So Heatley, Setoguchi, and now Parise aren't accomplished goal-scorers? Mikko Koivu isn't a 70pt center?

Bottom line is that Minnesota is a black hole for offense.
