I wouldn't want to be "Lidstroms replacement" personally. And I don't think Detroit is looking at an upwards trajectory in the standings in the next two or three seasons.

I like JayBo but he is def overpaid IMO, all that hype coming from FLA and he hasn't done anything in CGY.

I wgree that stafford or leo/sekera need to be the center of the next trade...

Stastny, ryan, chris stewart, or evander kane is my guess..

I doubt it but ok, Red Wings have a lot of money to play with just don't know if they have the players to move, Rangers and Flyers think they are getting everyone so I think you can figure that one out for yourself. Sharks can make all the deals they want, they will still choke when it counts.

People think because Parise and Suter signed that the flood gates are gonna open, I don't think so. But the Flyers, Pens and Rangers will start to get really impatient very soon and that may or may not be bad for the Sabres. Good for bob Murray the Ducks GM bad for Darcy.

Philly got owned here; first they lose out on Suter and now Carle leaves. With Pronger most likely done and Timmonen getting long in the tooth, their D isn't looking too good. I love it!

I think Weber just saw his buddy get 100 mill by being a UFA and decided, "Why would I re-sign when some team will give me more on July 1, 2013 than Suter got this year?"

I like Carle more than Wideman but those contract are awful, I don't like either one for anywhere close to that money.
