Define "blown"...

As nice as it was for Gus to play like a competent NHL goalie for us in January (which gets overblown by some people as "bailing us out"), I put a good chunk of the blame on him for costing us the playoffs.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 6 points we lost just because of him, and there are probably 10-12 in total.

There's no hope in hell that whatever non-roster goalie is invited to serve as cannon fodder will ever play for the Marlies, let alone the Leafs. So the Leafs invite somebody whom I've never heard of, and never will again, and it generates a few headlines and laughs.

I don't care.

The Leafs need a goalie and a #1 centre.

I don't give a flying puck about the rookie summer camp. I hope they have a great time playing hockey, getting pep talks about nutrition and avoiding the clap, and making new friends.
