I think the funniest tattoos are when chicks (or guys) get a line of chinese/japanese/celtic/whatever characters on their neck, and they don't read a lick of the language. Gonna be a lot of bumholes wondering why every time they walk through chinatown people are giggling so much.

yeah I have yet to see a Asian person with "water" or "life" tattooed on their body in english.
I applaud you for reading right to exactly what i meant. It was indeed a dig, well done. BTW Samsung should now be LA.
Edit: I think i like the cut of your jib, between your MMA knowledge and your over all intelligence, i can see you are not just an average leaf fan. BTW this being said never post really dumb roomers or trade proposals and ruin it, thanks. - eihcnerf

I don't recall seeing this, but for all the Kessel haters (and the idiot trolls coming out of nowhere last couple of days), Kessel ranked 16th of 50 NHLers, as voted by the players. Ahead of none other than Parise, Kane, Nash, Doughty, Brad Richards, etc. etc.

Isn't it funny how people's minds were totally blown away by the term of the DiPietro deal, and short years later now deals that long are practically the norm for high end players.
(I realize DiPietro wasn't and isn't a star like most of the guys who signed these deals, of course.)
Anyone else wonder if these deals are really risky, even for elite players like Suter and Parise? A lot can change in 13 years. Look at Luongo and Nash. They're hard to trade. I'm glad we've stayed away from some of these deals that take a guy to 40. Will be interesting to see, some of these debates will take another decade to determine.

The problem with Dipi is that his deal is a straight deal. It is 4.5 for 15 years solid. No cap circumvention where he gets 25 in year 1 and 2 the next. The buyout is different. His buyout is insane. If you bought out say Hossa with his front loaded deal it is marginal.

I love how everyone assume the player will retire and foresake the last couple years of the cap.
These guys aren't multi BILLIONAIRES. Even a million bucks means something to them, nevermind 2-4 million.
The full pain of these contracts is yet to be felt. I hope the new CBA addresses this crap and doesn't provide an "out" for the existing ones.
