Booyah, I live in Stirling! Though the game is not in stirling because our arena only holds like 500 people. So Belleville is going to host the game at the Yardman Arena I believe or the Wally Dever Arena.

You know what would be great? If the Leafs, with something like $14 million in cap space and more money available to them than about 20 of the other teams in the league combined, signed the two biggest names in free agency, instantly transforming them into a cup contender.

For the sake of the blood pressure of all Leafs fans, I hope Burke's got a big move up his sleeve.

Either the new CBA will be vastly different making his inactivity seem brilliant, or he's got a mega-deal in the works.

Rolling into next season with cap space in the 8 figure range would NOT be cool.

Huddle brings up a good point on twitter. If the league looked into the Kovalchuk signing and punished the Devils for a 1st rounder, shouldnt they look into Parise and Suters deals?

The cap is only $70 million up until the new CBA, so if the cap goes down with the new CBA, teams that are right at $70 mil or over are screwed. I think its a smart move to have cap space before the new CBA comes out, because no one knows whats going to happen.

The plan is unlimited, and they are not allowed to stop port 443 (HTTPS) traffic, which is what I use to connect to my VPN. Would break some kind of laws/regulations if they did.

Most apps work without the VPN connection as they mostly use HTTP port 80 for network traffic, but some do not, so it is a hit and miss without the VPN.

I think even "unlimited" plans have some throttling. I believe wind mobile works that way anyway?

Atleast I get to meet my favourite young players for the Leafs...

Ross, McKegg, Blacker, etc... I assume it's going to be all Marlies and baby Jackets.

The problem is that so many teams (and influential/profitable ones, at that) have these deals in place and are so close to the cap because of them that banking on the new CBA to radically change the rules is foolish.

Are all these teams (Minny, Vancouver, NJ, LA, Pittsburgh, etc) going to vote to screw themselves over?

Maybe he should have been a little more afraid of silva on the ground last time
- The_Vark

here's the thing. He was an idiot the last time around. All he had to do was run away for the final round and not engage.

Yeah, that may not be the most sporting, exciting or "honorable" thing to do.

On the other hand... just go back and watch Silva vs. Maia. Silva literally ran away from Maia for 2 rounds.

Sonnen did not lose last time because he was out fought. he lost because he was stupid (I realize that is a part of it).

... as far as Silva's injury? GSP fought half a fight with a torn abductor that actually really happened. He also beat a guy who was undefeated in 6 years (6?) while only having vision in one eye... that also was a real actual injury. Silva's injury was a big surprise and only came to light after he was dominated.

GSP is the best technical fighter to fight in UFC history, no doubt about it.

Sure Suter and Parise would look great on any team... but still no #1 C and no legitimate starting goalie.
