I guess the other problem is that if you drop a service, your bundle discount goes down. with home phone, and the big TV and internet plans, that additional discount is significant.

I just can't stand the Rogers and Bell data rates. They are absolute robbery. It is sickening how they can even be allowed to charge that much. I want a data plan one day, but I don't think I can stomach Rogers... which means no nice new phone either

- GoneFullRetard

I was in the US a couple times last month and I just bought a phone down there rather than pay for a Rogers roaming plan. You can do $50/month unlimited everything (nationwide - no international calling) or you can do a daily $2 per day unlimited everything and you only get charged on days you use the phone. They have it way better south of the border for cellular plans.

It would be good for the sport for Silva to lose to him..Except, he has such a big mouth..which is part of his charm, shall we say.
- bixll

he also got caught using PED's, was convicted of money laundering and mortgage fraud and ratted on other guys to stay out of jail, all in the same year.

Silva losing the title might be good for the sport (only if he moves to lhw though) but Sonnen is not the guy the UFC wants representing. It's like Danny Heatley being the spokesperson for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Any updates on the Halak to Toronto trade?
- Pecafan Fan

I'm hearing now that he's going back to Montreal, along with Montreal reacquiring Michael Ryder ... in order to complete the long overdue Halak, Ryder and 2nd for Lecavalier deal.

Or am I wrong?

I didn't say, I wanted him to marry my daughter. I agree with you, he is not the poster boy for the sport. But Silva has been the dominant figure since 2006, i believe, so a change is fine.. Same as with GSP,

Listen, with Silva it could be over in 13 seconds..Time will tell.
- bixll

Seems like Silva wants to take his time with him a really pick him apart, make him hurt.

But, it might throw Silva off his game plan. It is very out of character for him to be this outwardly emotional about a fight.

Love to see both move up a weight class or have that super fight everyone's been asking for a couple years now. GSP vs Silva I doubt Silva stays around much longer, win or lose on saturday.

Problem is: If you follow a trend, the league is already keeping up to it.

Butterfly style has been around for some time. It plays the percentages of blocking key areas within the net, putting the onus on the shooter to make the shot. Thing is the shooters have been trained since kids now for top corner and five hole. The goaltending style has been incorporated in to the training of all young players. Unless you have a huge body between the pipes, you need to hit them with something unpredictable like a hybrid or reactionary style.

You don't buy Lacoste when it hits Biway, You move on to the next trend. (If you're not old enough to understand the comment) = Lacoste was big in the 70's and then it fell off to discount stores below Walmart and Winners standards. Nobody wanted Lacoste in the 80's and the brand was only revitalized by That 70's show, to be a leading style again. The butterfly is Lacoste

- stevecarpetman

I don't quite buy this analogy. Clothing goes in and out of style for completely arbitrary reasons, and not because certain fashions are inherently better than others.

The butterfly style is in fashion because there's something intrinsically superior about it. Shooters have known about it for years, and there are guys in the league who are almost retired who have played against it their entire careers.

But the style is still alive and well.

Booyah, I live in Stirling! Though the game is not in stirling because our arena only holds like 500 people. So Belleville is going to host the game at the Yardman Arena I believe or the Wally Dever Arena.
