That's his nickname, he said in the press scrum that he's been called it since midget.

Is there a team in the NHL with a history of nicknames as bad as the Flyers?

- Carts
- Richie
- Gags
- Roo
- Nitty

No wonder so many players leave - they can't stand the lame nicknames.

- Atomic Wedgie

hockey players in general are the WORST nicknamers

Is there something in Komi's contract that says "I cannot be buried with the Marlies?"

Just like Philly should get Carter & Richards back and not sign Bryz.

Still solid moves for the Flyers and they still made the playoffs...oh sorry.

Playoffs are an extension of the regular season when teams win. See when a team is good enough they get to continue playing in a bracket style format for a championship called the Stanley Cup. Oh sorry.

The Stanley Cup is this really big trophy that teams are presented with when they win the championship. Players and staff get their names engraved on it to commemorate their accomplishments. The Stanley Cup has been around since 1914, but winners haven't been truly recognized since 1968 when the league expanded to more than a embarrassing 6 teams.

Leafs should trade Kessel back to Boston for Seguin, Hamilton and Knight.

Yep according to cap geek he has a NMC & modified NTC of a list of teams he would go to each year. Plus, free agents already do not want to come to Toronto. So sending down a capable Dmen who should be in the NHL (just that he makes way too much) is suicide.

I've tried to get people on here to use THE TOWER OF POWER when talking about Emelin.

For some reason, it didn't pick up.

I wonder why...

Didnt Hasek want back into the NHL even accepting the minimum salary? I'd give it to him in a heartbeat. He MIGHT be able to play as the starter...

...or at least do some of this "mentoring" thing that every player above 30 seems to have mastered in the NHL.
