Does Minni have any solid D prospects? Even with Suter their defence is God-Awful
- steve362

Better question might be is now do they have any forwards (specifically centermen) that they are going to move...we have lots of defenders and d prospects

The question was the last time two star players jumped ship to the same team.

I'd call adding a 27 year old 80 point Kariya (who just lead the ducks in scoring) and a 32 year old Teemu (who just lead the sharks in scoring) a pretty good comparison to what the Wild just did.

Was Kariya that young?

A) Lacoste never hit Biway.
B) I always preferred the nickname "Black and White Boutique."

Although in my high school, a wicked insult was calling someone a "Biway Prep."

Oh, man, it still stings.

Oh that brings back some bad memories... my parents buying me those jeans with all the patches on the rear and mom removing them with a sewing needle... What a dump.

Good... Now we never have to talk about or hear about Parise and Suter again... AND they went to the Western conference... Booyah...
- SofaKingBored

I'm just glad they're not in Pittsburgh or Philly.

Somebody is making them again.

I swear to God.

I was walking up Yonge Street, north of the Rosedale station. There's a store on the east side that has them in the window. They aren't vintage - they are new.

I'm seriously tempted...

- Atomic Wedgie

Get me the name of the store. I'd rock those now-a-days

I loved Consumers Distributing. I even made a little money helping an older kid in the neighbourhood distribute the catalogues one year (he had a wagon).

Funny how every kid in Canada knew about the "personal massage device."

honestly this is probably the first time 2 this big have both been UFA's and done it, but players collude all the time to go sign with buddies, etc.

Parise, Suter, Heatley, MKoivu and Backstrom have a combined cap hit of $35,326,924, half of the entire cap. They better hope it works.

lock-out here we come!!
does anybody realise that you cannot have more and more 12-15y (high) caphit contracts, without constantly increasing max caphit significantly?
under this scenario, current ufa contracts are basically taking hostage future generations (5y - 8y from now), since no space left for new high cap hit contracts!!
in new cba, either max total contract value, or max contract length (5-6y) has to be included, or lockout is a certainty.

I think if Coyle and Granlund are ready they will squeeze out Bouchard - who makes 4 million and is an Unrestricted Free Agent after this season.

I dunno guys, I'm starting to Like the Wild. I mean with guys like Clitsome, Clutterbuck, and Stoner they were already a good team on paper.
