All I can say is that if Parise and Suter were going to sign together, I'm just glad that they signed in the West. |

North Star shoes....
Wrangler and Lee when everyone else was wearing Levis. LOL good memories of being the poor kid who had to punch the lippy rich Bistards for making stupid comments. LOL - stevecarpetman
Somebody is making them again.
I swear to God.
I was walking up Yonge Street, north of the Rosedale station. There's a store on the east side that has them in the window. They aren't vintage - they are new.
I'm seriously tempted... |

That's a lot of Cap money tied up in two guys...but good for them, they should be pretty good next year. Wonder how long it is until a trade happens (like Nash for example) for the teams that missed out. |

Does Minni have any solid D prospects? Even with Suter their defence is God-Awful |

I was just calling you old. I know what Biway is... cause I'm oldish too... but not old like you
- Big_Lightnin
How about Consumers Distributing where you got all your crap electronics back in the day. The catalog had everything from vibrators to work out equipment. (wait...KInd the same thing. LOL)

beat me too it
different situation though
they were stars brought in to play secondary minutes and it didn't work out
Suter and Parise are going to be top line guys expected to carry a lot of the load - Sammich
I think Kariya was brought in to play with Tanguay and Sakic (to relive the Olympics), and Teemu was brought in to play with Hejduk and Forsberg. Then Teemu got hurt and well Kariya just didn't click with Burnaby Joe. Ruined my hockey pool too. Bastards. |

I loved Consumers Distributing. I even made a little money helping an older kid in the neighbourhood distribute the catalogues one year (he had a wagon).
Funny how every kid in Canada knew about the "personal massage device." |

no it isn't, they just don't have any "stars" like Phaneuf.

The question was the last time two star players jumped ship to the same team.
I'd call adding a 27 year old 80 point Kariya (who just lead the ducks in scoring) and a 32 year old Teemu (who just lead the sharks in scoring) a pretty good comparison to what the Wild just did. |

Better question might be is now do they have any forwards (specifically centermen) that they are going to move...we have lots of defenders and d prospects |
