Still solid moves for the Flyers and they still made the playoffs...oh sorry.
Playoffs are an extension of the regular season when teams win. See when a team is good enough they get to continue playing in a bracket style format for a championship called the Stanley Cup. Oh sorry.
The Stanley Cup is this really big trophy that teams are presented with when they win the championship. Players and staff get their names engraved on it to commemorate their accomplishments. The Stanley Cup has been around since 1914, but winners haven't been truly recognized since 1968 when the league expanded to more than a embarrassing 6 teams. - Glak18
And high school is an extension of junior high school.
We know you are going to do really well. |

since 'Wedgie' is already in the realm of nicknames, hockey players would still have to change it up. Perhaps 'Wedger or Wedges' ? |

Unfortunately in the salary cap world with Komi's salary is pretty much unmovable (unless team needs to get to the floor if there is one in new cba), Franson will need to be traded to help acquire upfront/goalie help.
Plus, even though Franson is young, he is too similar to the other guys we have. His biggest asset is he is a right handed shot, and in fact it is pretty good. Other than that he is not so good in the defensive end. - jsam7
with the right coaching and development the kid is top 4 defenceman
his shot gets through like 80% of the time so if you have the right forwards outfront for the rebound you can bang those in. He isnt like all our other d in the sense
I think he may get lost in the numbers game but its just not fair to him, he deserves more and hopefully our new coach realizes that and works with him. Hes got the size just needs to use it a bit more |

Didnt Hasek want back into the NHL even accepting the minimum salary? I'd give it to him in a heartbeat. He MIGHT be able to play as the starter...
...or at least do some of this "mentoring" thing that every player above 30 seems to have mastered in the NHL. - Whyaduck
I'm pretty sure he got charged for assaulting someone in a ball hockey league or something. Not really who you want mentoring your young goalies. |

Grabbo is a good name.
Reimer should be called Jesus' Christian Soldier Between the Pipes.
And of course Ben Scrivens should be the Scrimshander (don't be embarrassed if you have to google that). Although it would have been much cooler if the Whalers were still in the league. |

If we call him that, we can't put him on a line with Frattin. |

Not that I think it would happen, but wouldn't it be hilarious if Toronto ended up with the better of the two Habs goalies? |

I have no idea what this actually means (aside from the fact that it is factually incorrect - the Stanley Cup was first donated in 1892), but you should know that the Leafs have won the Stanley Cup in a league with more than 6 teams. |

Well if Burke wants to inject a little truculence, and build from the backend out, that's killing two birds with one stone. |

I agree with you, but the reality is we would have to be able to get rid of either Dion, Liles or Komi for that to happen (a dream come true). By no means am I saying he is garbage, he is just a piece we have the teams want.
