Detroit's culture, perennial competitiveness, organizational stability, players, coaching, holes in the lineup, and ample cap-space all work in their favor. For consummate pros and team-first guys like Parise and Suter, it would be a dream fit.

Guys who are UFA's are eligible for NTC/NMC's. So that wouldn't be a factor for Parise or Suter. I'd assume that both offers include no trade protection.
