I don't like the jvr trade simply Bc the type of player L schenn is, is generally available year in and year out on the UFA market in the form of an o'donnell, zanon, grossman, etc. and I just wanted one more year of jvr. If the flyers have concerns long term with his hip. It was a good deal.

The Flyers lost some key players but I'm still happy they didn't overpay and get stuck with a bad contract. Homer still has a chance to upgrade but no need to be disappointed bc they will have a solid club next year.

Well, what's done is done. My assumption is the organization feels Meszy and Kimmo will be ready to go by opening night or pretty close afterward. Assuming these guys aren't dealt, I would assume we will see a lot more of Voracek and Read on the point on the PP paired with one of Kimmo or Meszy.
