Some people are always negative. Remind me again who signed at a good price while we were waiting for Suter and Parise again?
- hereticpride

Danny Syvret was an absolute steal, in my opinion.

Agreed. I'll judge Holmgren's off season when I see the team that takes the ice on opening night.

David Pagnotta (4th period) :

Talks across the board have picked up for Semin but nothing close this moment. Carle -should- be locked up soon. Meanwhile, all eyes on Nash

Weber has little reason to stay in Nashville right now. For all the praise Poile gets they made some really questionable decisions last year.

Signing Rinne long term before either defenseman when they know money is an issue

Blowing a 1st rounder on renting Gaustad and then overpaying to keep him

Blowing a pick on Kostitson

Giving Radulov the time of day

Most importantly not making a move for Carter when they had two chances to. Say what you will about Carter, he'd be the best forward on that team by far, at a good price, long term.

the wild will still suck, they have 1 good dman now and 1 good line, wow so exciting, wonder what happens to those contracts when they file bankruptcy in 2 years

Unless something really bad happens, Cliff Lee will have exactly one more win in the Major Leagues than I do this year.

Now for some fourth o' July festivities....

The Wild have a better average attendance per game than the Boston Bruins for the last season and rank just behind the Rangers and LA Kings...

No reason why that franchise shouldn't thrive

Adding Parise, a local boy and Suter is gonna give them even more credibility.
They're in a good market. According to the numbers on ESPN their building fills at 98.4%

I'm guessing their attendance should rise a bit more now.

I assume it's because Anaheim and Columbus are still asking way too much for Nash and Ryan.

If we dont get either of them Im fine with it. Just get a 6/7 Dman for sure and try to get Carle. Dont panic

Carle and an extra D man? That's definitely one too many with already having MAB and Lilja.

I still try to make a trade for a winger and sign a cheap replacement for Carle.
