without undoing all that homer built last year, I can't see how anything he could offer now (Jake+Mez+pick) can't be outdone by someone else for either of those guys. For Ryan Homer would be brain-dead for doing it, he's a UFA in three years, so in all likelihood Anaheim might look to move him in a year or two. Nash is just overpaid, I don't see how taking on that contract is conducive to building a balanced cup team.

I guess I'll head over to Matt Carle's house ... I just KNOW there's got to be a big fireworks celebration on tap.
