This website is only big enough for one wannabie know it all!! - NYRPowerPlay
The point, which I'm sure you really didn't miss, because the Ranger fans here aren't stupid, is that you don't come on and post stuff you or your friends made up for kicks. At least if you are quoting someone in the media or even a blogger other posters have some idea of how much credence to give it based on the legitimacy of the source and his/her track record. |

Minnesota is better but their defense beyond Suter is su..us..pect, love these teams spending like the Rangers used to and not getting half the poop we do but getting praised, let's not forget they are paying Heatley 7.5 million to do what he does....lose
BTW it's rumored that I'm gonna take a 4th of July dump real soon, my ass is the source. |

I could've guessed Parise and Suter were going to sign in Minnesota and then told you the world was going to explode. Would you believe me? - _Zippy_

The Matt carle contract is outrageous. Six years? That guy was the rangers beat player when they played Philly. Flyers fans should be happy... |

In order to play by the rules and becasue I enjoy sharing the few tidbits I come with from time to time from a few people in the media and hockey organizations, I will send anything I hear that I feel is worthy of repeating to Jan, and he can decide if it should be shared with the site.
I've been a huge advocate of the Rangers making an impact deal for a power forward, and while I still feel that way, I think Sather is doing the right thing here. He feels and rightfully so, that due to Nash's contract and trade demand he should not have to sell the farm in order to obtain him. Ryan on the other hand, has an extremely attractive contract, is younger and provides the same impact therefore the dealwould have to be more extensive, and that is why he seems to have focused on Nash. Either way, i hope this situation resolves quickly. |

You can always share all tidbits with me too old school, I'm just a PM away.
And if Sather's gonna do something, it will be real soon because his annual 6 week fishing trip is just around the bend. |

I certainly did think of that.
I love how these owners are going to be going into the CBA meetings saying they need to be saved from themselves. |

Don't think for minute that Don Fehr is unhappy about this free agent signing period. The timing could not be better for the NHLPA if they are smart and listen to what Fehr tells them. |

at this point the owners are stupid for not just extending the current CBA, which they had every opportunity to do.
But, forgotten in the mix is that the owners need the players to approve that crazy divisional realignment too.
If the owners cry poverty they really should be all lined up and shot.
They eliminated an entire season to get a salary cap, and ever since then virtually every owner has signed contracts specifically to circumvent the cap in any way they can.
If anybody is pro-owner this time around, they can ass kiss my grits yo. |
