Staying on the movie topic...

Anyone seen Ted yet? Just saw it with a few of my buddies and it was pretty (frank)ing funny

If you're into Seth MacFarlane type of humor, you'll love it. Much funnier than Family Guy type of humor and I was surprised at how good it was. Definitely better than I expected.

Honestly, havent seen a movie that funny since superbad.

I highly recommend everyone see Savages. Very violent plus blake lively = win.

As far as I'm concerned, Superbad is my generations Animal House.

I'm 25, and when Superbad came out, I was just like "Damn they (frank)ing nailed it!"

I think for a lot of the other guys that was Animal House back in the day!

---

Still need to see Ted!

Caught THe Amazing Spider man though!

Love Superbad! Up there with the Hangover and Anchorman as my favorite comedies!

Ted is not as funny as Superbad. Different type of humor so it's hard to judge but it is definitely worth the watch. Had many good laughs.

The Fact that the Rangers have been relatively quiet in the FA market (not signing a top forward or D-man) is because I believe in part they are waiting for Shane Doan and July 9th date. Doan will know on that date if the Coyotes can re-sign him based on their fianancial status. Theres also no rush to make a move as the Rangers are a solid team right now. I believe they are confident in re-signing both MDZ and Stralman. As for a possible trade, I feel that the Nash saga has reached its limit as GM Howson is asking for the moon and thankfully, Sather will not bend and dismantle the team.As for Ryan, he is very talented, but the same holds true for him as well. The Rangers or any other teams interested in either Nash or Ryan should not have to give up a kings ransom to acquire either of them. Im leaning more towards the Rangers signing Doan and Pete Mueller and then see what it would take to acquire Shea Weber. One important fact that needs to be addressed is that the Rangers will have a bunch of players becoming FA entering the 2014-2015 season (Girardi, Callahan, Gaborik, Lundqvist, Boyle, Krieder, Erixon, Rupp, Pyatt, Asham, Haley, Biron). Some will be top priority to re-sign and some will not. For this reason, the Rangers maximum years thus far with all three FA signings has been 2 years, which makes sense. So if the Rangers do sign any other FA, expect a 2 year deal. The only expception will be if the Rangers did trade for an elite player such as Nash, Ryan or Weber.

yeah, I definitely think the Rangers are waiting to see what Doan wants to do. The fact that his agent actually said the term "the team in Manhattan" the other day speaks volumes.

I think it will probably take a 3 year 15 million dollar deal to get him.

That is a fair deal for him. I think Doan still has at least 3 years left in that body. The price for Nash or Ryan won't drop IMO, so this might be the most cost efficient option for the Rangers.

The Rangers have nearly $16 million in available cap space with 20 players (13 forwards, 5 defensemen and 2 goalies) under contract. When Del Zotto re-signs that will give us 6 D and likely leave us still with $11 million - $12 million or so. The Rangers generally always spend near the cap so unless he feels the ceiling is coming down significantly in the new CBA he has at least one big deal waiting; maybe two if Dubinsky is involved going the other way.

I guess I'm the only one who thought Superbad was retarded? I honestly didn't even make it through the whole movie, just wasn't funny for me.

I know, I know, here come the old man jokes. Give me Caddyshack, Airplane & The Naked Gun everyday of the week.

I would like Doan, a gutty vet, would add needed secondary scoring. That price is a bit high but if we can't get Nash or Ryan, it is the only move.

Loved John Candy in Uncle Buck. Planes, Trains and Automobiles was great as well.

Doan is certainly a viable option, although I think it's his desire to stay Phoenix.
