I know that Minnesota thinks extremely highly of Granlund and he could contend next year for the Calder along with Kreider.

They'll never trade him, he is probably the top prospect in the whole league.

I think if the Rangers trade Erixon, it will be part of a package to acquire immediate help.

I understand the thinking though, with McDonagh, Staal and Del Zotto entrenched as the top 3 defensemen on the left side, hard to see where Erixon will fit.

i was born in 1980 in USSR and didnt see an nhl game till 1994.I missed that.I only saw Red wings and Rangers games then because those teams had Russian players,and only those were televised.
