One of my faves as a kid was SPlash, Candy had a small role but was hilarious as Tom Hanks brother, the pervert. - B2B76
It's amazing just how many movies he was in where he was a secondary or minor character. He really only headlined a few movies himself. I think he was just getting to that point where he was considered a big enough star to headline flicks when he passed away. |

Doan is certainly a viable option, although I think it's his desire to stay Phoenix. - OLDSCHOOL#6
yeah, but there is a vote happening in Monday that very well could signal the end of hockey in Phoenix, if that's what happens, Doan said he will listen to offers. |

imagine if the NHL decides that in the new CBA, they decide that a players cap hit is only the first 5 years of the contract or something like that. parise's, suter's, kovy's, etc. cap hits would be like 11 mil |

Monzo is killing me on twitter, he is big on Stepan in the deal for Nash, plug one hole and open another. |

Yea what is the point of acquiring a top 6 forward if you are going to trade one away....does nothing. Part of me really hopes Nash gets stuck in Columbus just to see that cirucs all season long. |

Nah, we're waiting for you to discontinue the youth movement by shipping the Schenns and Couturier to Columbus for him. It's only a matter of when since Holmgren just can't stop himself from making at least one big move per offseason. |

I can't see them doing that. But I've always wondered why a player's cap hit was not the same as their salary for that year. It's hard to circumvent the cap that way. GMs would have to consider a player's worth throughout the length of the contract. Sure, front loading it would make a buyout easier toward the end of the contract, but you're stuck with a huge cap hit early on. If you average out the salary, you average out the cap hit for the duration but you might be stuck with the contract because it wouldn't be as buyout friendly. Maybe I'm wrong, but that has always made the most sense to me. |

It is not Nash he is targeting....I can see him offering something like that for Weber though. |

And then next June Couturier and the Schenns will be holding the cup in Columbus.

This has already been mention but with Beuk being hired to coach at Connecticut how inevitable is it that his son will soon join the organization as a FA. He may not be the same prospect he was in his draft year but he still has the blood lines and can be coached up into a competent or better blueliner. The Rangers are the ideal fit given their propensity for developing quality D. |

No doubt, bringing Beuke back into the family was awesome, bringing his son in would be great too, no downside. |

That would be great!
And Nick, just saw Apocalypse Now Redux, the extended version which turned a 3 hr movie into an almost 4 hr movie, totally unnecessary. 1st time in years I saw that, Classic. Opinions? - B2B76
Dude I know you're going to hate me, but I haven't watched it yet.
THey're both on Netflix, which one should I watch?
The original Theatrical Version (153 Minutes)
The Redux Version how the director wanted it to be (203 Minutes)
Which one Bri? Thanks! |

Wow, you haven't seen it yet Nick? I recommend watching it tomorrow. It is a classic for any movie buff
I have my own guilty faults. I consider myself a movie buff and still have yet to see any of the Star Wars movies. I know, crazy. |

Original version. Coppola got too cute with the redux. Get it tomorrow, Martin Sheen is phenomonal. Brando, Bobby DuVall in smaller roles but very memorable. Lot of other great acting in it too. Love it, just thought the redux was pointless. |

I hadn't seen any Back to the Futures until last week, I finally watched the first in full. I still need to watch Rocky and Indiana Jones. Up until two weeks ago I hadn't seen any Die Hard's either.
Granted growing up my two favorite movies were Air Force One and Terminator 2, but I did miss out on some classics. |
