Easy, Frolik and Montador to Rockford. - EKolb13
Actually, better solution. We stick Kane in Rockford all year, then bring him up for the playoffs. He can be added to the playoff roster without having to clear waivers I believe, correct? |

Even if you sign both Parise and Suter you will still need a goalie.
Luongo for Seabrook - fiveandagame
Quit kidding yourself. Luongo the mentally unstable won't be coming here.
He's Vancouver's overpriced back up next season. Unless Gillis wants to take a page out of Wirtz's book, and get his own affiliate team in the Swiss league. |

Reading the approach the 'Hawks may be taking with both players now 100% makes me realize what it's been like to be a Yankees fan the last 3 decades.
Sell it Rocky / McD/ SB ... sell it! If you're gonna swing the big stick, just sit back on that hanging breaking ball, square it up and clobber it !!
Sorry for the baseball analogy, but I've been torn between the 2 sports for over 40 years. - blackhawk24
Don't apologize, I'm the same way. I am torn as well. I have two sons who played both sports. The oldest (now 15) gave up baseball about 3 years ago to concentrate on hockey (he wasn't really that good at baseball) and is now on a U16 travel team. The youngest (7), still plays both. Not sure which way he'll go. |

Counter offer....how about Seabrook sh!t in a paper sack and we trade that for luongo. - southernhawk
Bet the paper sack could stop more goals in the playoffs than loose legs lou |

Because you'd be like $8MM over the cap if you signed Parise AND suter. You can ship out Hammer's $3.5MM for a pick, but then you still have to shed like $4.5MM. So you have to make the numbers work. Also, LA isn't just going to start taking our garbage either like Olesz and Frolik. They will be up against the cap next year when Quick's contract kicks in. - coldsteelonice
I know it's all hypothetical, but landing Quick for Kane is 100% on a different level than salary dumping. Getting the best goalie in the league - or at least very close to the top - is mutually exclusive to moving other (e.g. dumping) salaries. |

I was joking. If the Hawks get Suter and Parise they could put JJ in net and still win the cup |

LA has a good cap situation , Quick is probably untouchable like Toews |

Bickell makes the league minimum. Sticking him in the minors and replacing his spot with anyone else in the entire league would not improve the cap space, only make it worse. |

Hammer - Frolik - Stalberg done
If Stanbow has shown anything it is that he can dump salary and create CBA circumventing deals that fit in. Parise's deal averages 7.5 --- Suters averages 6.5 and bing bang boom hello Stanley Cup how are you doing today
And if Hossa on LTIR doesnt matter
And I would move Sharp for picks way before I move Kane |

What do you guys need Seabs for? Didn't you guys land Garrison? Imo Seabs is one of the most underrated d-men in the league...The guy is crazy good |

If there is such a thing as an untouchable in the league right now, after this past year's performance, it would have to be Quick. Why are we even talking about this? |

But its not as bad since he's at only $542k. It'd piss us all off if that number were $3.542M. |

Would be a tough pill to swallow. But i would not do it. Kane is a hell of a player and is a better offensive threat. But Brown is the captain. Hes a physical force. Kane is the kind of player I want on a line with him. I know Kane is worth more and has higher value. Its just me. Need the character in Brown. |

I love Seabrook. Big, tough, nasty, cannon of a shot and can log big miniutes. |
