This just in...Suter's wife and Parise's girlfriend have contacted a real estate office in Robbins seeking estimated home values. After speaking with said real estate professional, both ladies have decided togo back to their repsected others and tell them of the great deals that can be had in the Chicago area. Sounds like Parise and Suter are done deals.

I'd take Toews over Parise or Suter, so one would have to think 20 million for signing would be a nice little bonus for him. I also wonder what the Hawks are planning to do with Leddy. I have to think he gets a good raise next year.

Ek is reporting that NJ matched the $ for the Parise deal. My question, if the league is lending money to the NJ franchise, does this mean that other teams are giving money to block Chicago from signing Zach? As a fan, if NJ cannot support the payroll by it's owners, then they should not be able to sign contracts. This just smells like Bettmans soiled pants to me. Please, someone take him out.

If Rocky gets at least one more cup by then, it won't matter. Operating margins will have far-exceeded his expectations, the UC will continue to play to 109% of capacity.

Local media revenue will continue to climb, not to mention the NHL stands to make out like a bandit on the ratings scale due to the visbility the 'Hawks provide. NJ can't possibly do that.

The 'Hawks for sure will re-up with Toews and can command a kings ransom for Kane if they so choose to move him. Key is for SB to have a long-range plan regarding the payroll so there isn't a 2010 capocalypse again.

Id love to see Brown Kopi Kane as a line.Kane could be some Creative juices for those guys. Kopi is good and could use a set up man like Kane.
