HS, I like Suter but don't ever see him as a #1 Dman. He a solid steady guy but not a difference maker IMO. He's lucky to be a FA this year cuz the pickens are slim and he's going to cash in because of that.

My hope starting July 1st was to see the bidding get to idiot money and the Wings be forced to cough 8+ per for him, hence over pay. The Wings will still have tons of cash and definitely will make a huge run at Weber next year, and if they win that battle my hope is they over pay again.

No more discounts for the Wings. Let them get their share of players, Suter types, but let them over pay.

Hopefully, the Hawks PR department and Rocky remember this the next time they think about bringing that a$$ clown Chelios back to the UC and act like he's a "part of the Blackhawk family"! He's a DOG, plain and simple!!!!

Of the two..i'd take Parise in a heartbeat over Suter...but again...if Parise gets $7 mil/year...how long until Tazer wants to renegotiate ? Tazer's a QUALITY lad as we all know and would probably honor his contract without a peep...but you never know with agents these days.

yo, he CAN'T re-negotiate. No such thing in this current CBA. If that changes, then ok. But Toews is stuck at 6.3M a year for 3 more. THat's it.

Toews is ging to get paid , I think Toews is a warrior / team guy that wants to lift Stanley Cups. Adding Parise will not be a locker room problem. I believe Toews is due is 2015 right ?? The Cap will be way up by then and whenever Toews re ups he will be the highest paid player on the team. Especially 3 time Stanley Cup winning Captain Toews !!!!!!!

Am I wrong, I was under the assumption that there is no renegotiating. Toews will seek an extension the year before his deal ends. He can't just demand more money, this isn't football. He will make a pile of money!! My guess is that is when Kane goes bye bye.

I live in San Francisco (hold the snide comments). Regardless of what is more socially acceptable here than other places, I've just never seen two dudes in racing gear, riding a tandem bike. I just didn't know if that's a sport. it was like a bike you see a dad and his daughter riding together. I've seen a lot of random crap in the 6+ years I've lived here, but that was a head-scratcher.
