Maybe he had a verbal agreement with the Pens and he's regretful now.....and he's trying to make the Pens pull out their offer.......we are the only ones here that could pull this offer......NJ and MIN have nothing to loose if you know what I mean

We actually get lucky with "Old" wingers..hoping for Doan as well (hard one)

If the Parise deal falls through I'd say he's a good character guy to have around....plus we could sign him at a cheaper price when his current deal expire.

with only one more year, id welcome him on the team this year if it didnt cost a lot to get him. only at one year, just have it last until next year when hopefully there are more options. if it doesnt work, then oh well. it cant hurt to have him around for a year. however, i cant see the stars just giving him away

he was playing like poop before he left Pitts.....I agree he played well in Phily though

OK, imagine this fairly realistic scenario. You want to play with your best friend on a team that has a good chance at the cup(us). However your lovely wif says you could be close to home and family in Minnisota. This is what I imagine could be happening. Just trying to keep it real. Since I am married and have heard my wife with her move back to her home town spiel.
