We're accommodating her girlfriend at our appartment while he's at the general hospital because we don't want her to stay alone at the hotel. Can't say the atmosphere is beyond festive :/

Somehow, Lou will have to replace Parise. How do you see that?

Edit: Semin?

- Pecafan Fan

That's what i have been thinking. I wouldn't necessarily be against it but can't overpay for him unless its a one year deal. Judging by the other contracts being given out and im sure the KHL has made offers for him i think he may be way too high of a price range.

Radulov for 6M in the KHL, I can't see semin taking under 6.5M to stay in the NHL. That's a lot of money for guy with tons of talent but shows up once in a while.

I would give him a one year deal for that. But no long term deals that would be crazy for a guy like him. A change a scenery could benefit him. Kovy didn't have the best reputation when he came here and i think hes changed the perception of himself to many since coming.

It'll only get more boring every year. With the long term deals and no trade clauses given like candies, the pool of high-end UFAs will get smaller and smaller every year.

I mean, 2003 was the best crop ever, and only Parise, Suter and Kostitsyn (lol) made it to UFA day.

Parise
Suter
Doan
Whitney
etc. Very good free agent crop this year.

Nash, Ryan, Luongo still to be traded.
Plus a few trades that have already happened.

Been a pretty good last two weeks.

I'm not talking about trades.

But once all the top guns on every teams will be locked up for 10+ years with NTCs, the UFA deadline will be pretty.... lame.

FLAWS: Doesn't play with a lot of passion and rarely takes full advantage of his tremendous size. His skating and coordination are also weaknesses in his game.

the Impact played as if they deserved calls to even things out. In reality, they had most calls against them because they played poorly. The first penalty kick was a clear hand ball with the hand coming up. The second penalty was an outright two-armed tackle in the box. The ref owes them nothing. Less whining, more effort, and learn from your errors, Impact.

Wait...Howard, what the (frank) is this? Are you analyzing soccer now?
