I know, but I just worry that they are products of their environment. Suter teamed with Weber and Parise played in Jersey where even Gomez looked good....

Parise is a real mutha(frank)ing gamer.

I'm still trying to ponder what the (frank) a C-level prospect is and why the (frank) anybody would want one...

C probably refers to Cock.

Fact: Parise played with Niedermeyer and Stevens.

The LA Kings say hi.

Are you talking about the Richards and Carter or Doughty?

In the right environment long term contracts may work, I think 10 year contracts should be reserved for true franchise players. I don't think Suter and Parise are that.

Parise's production is due to NJ's defensive system

Just saying that sometimes players are in a environment where they are successful. If they are removed from that they may not perform the same. And to commit to a 13 year contract for $90 million is nuts.

Parise is a stud. I don't get the hype on Suter. Seems like a Smyth/Briere/Drury/Gomez situation where the talent pool is not so deep.

Also, Keith got a 13 year contract (or something like that) now everyone is already saying he's "past his prime" despite another 10ish years left at almost $6M.

I like Parise but he was the 3rd highest scorer on Jersey, he would be an awesome addition to a team with a good core.

I know he's the spanish Hasek...but read Marty post wrong and responded in an even more wrong fashion.

I should cut no code today.

anyway I hope so. The price can't be very high.....history suggests he's worth a 3rd or 4th liner.
