It really is an innovative way to fight.
- 3M

Added bonus, if you injure the other guy's hand that way, he can't hold his stick and be effective.

During his stint with the habs he was a complete non-factor though. Not even streaky, he was just nothing at all.

I'm ready to give him a chance. Guy came in a terrible situation.

Doesn't win many fights that way though.
- eihcnerf

Emelin should try that style of fighting, with his metal face and all.

Not allowed to fight, and it really makes leaf and bruin fans upset, cause well he destroys people checking wise and makes them cry.

Hard to argue with that. But he has the upside to get back and have an "ok" season. Anyway, i'm not a fan of his, just can't deny that if he cares and wants to play, a 20+ goals season isn't out of question.

Yes, his value is currently at an all-time low. BG and PG had the habit to trade the players during that time. Hopefully, Bergevin understands the "buy low, sell high" motto and gives him a chance to redeem himself at least a little.

Maybe it's also the reason why we're hearing of Patrick Kane. "Talented, but had a bad season, a cokehead, always drunk" That would be the time to move for him, no? (frank), the guy's 21 years old, he'll get more mature and get his poop straight.

Hopefully he'll come back stronger but with the type of player he is, i'll keep my doubts up and about. I mean, the guy's out of Calgary and the only thing you could hear from flames fans is "Glad that floater is out!". That's usually not a good sign.

And cost the habs way more then he is worth to acquire. Not a center. And small. A douchebag on top of it, a la Cammi, that went well.

How is it rediculous?

How exactly?

Other than the (frank)ing pathetic media generated frenzy over wanting announcements now now now now now so they can be the first to break the story - what exactly is ridiculous.

Is there a special deadline that I am not aware of? Does training camp open soon in the next few days?

No.

So explain to me exactly why on any rational level this is ridiculous... you know, other than perhaps the fact that you have a sore finger from hitting refresh on twitter all day waiting to see what happens.

Yeah but then again Kane is actually worth investing a couple of years to see what happens with the player. Who gives a (frank) about Bourque? Even if he turns out better than last season, he's still a plug. We'll get a 2nd round pick for him and move on.
