yeah he is, but I think he could have one more good year left in him... and if the Leafs are out of it, but he is playing well, he could be a good chip at
the deadline.

- GoneFullRetard

It depends though. If the Leafs are out of it by then, he probably isnt playing well. If he isn't playing well, the media will eat him alive along with the fans, and he'll be even more of a nut job psycho for it.

the lure of the Leafs though is there is no chance he'd be asked to go to the White House any time soon...
- Lohaus

Yea, aside from the obvious reason that the White House isn't in a Canada and the Leafs are a Canadian team.

Looks like the Sens wont be going there either.

So true.

I just can't get over notion that some Leaf fans look at Lupul and think to themselves, nope we don't need Ryan or a Nash type of player.

Speaking of Canucks, how bad would it be if Schneider struggles this season and Luongo is gone....

- Gunslinger

I would not give Lupul away, but I would certainly be listening to offers or trying to make him the centerpiece of a deal for a goalie or for Nash. I am guessing Anaheim has no interest in taking him back for deal for Ryan.

Lupul + Gardiner + 2nd for Ryan

Id trade Lupul at the deadline. Leafs desperately need him this year.

I wouldnt do that Ryan deal.

More like Kulemin, Bozak, Gunnarson and a 3rd.

He has a bunker in a field somewhere, fully stocked with water, canned food, and guns, doesn't he. You know he does.

Maybe Phaneuf could bring the tunes and the team could party there.

Surprised you would not do that deal. I suspect that Lupul will not look like the same player this year. I would do that deal. I would also do your deal, but I think Anaheim wouldn't.

My uncle worked with a guy at Environment Canada who went all whacked out like that too. He's started talking about the end of the world and all that nonsense and then became an apocalyptic survivalist. Apparenlty he sold everything in Ottawa and now lives somewhere close to James Bay. If Thomas is anywhere near that guy, I'd pass.

... If your grandmother, or any other member of the family should die whilst in the shelter, put them outside, but remember to tag them first for identification purposes.

He's a guy who worked with my uncle. I never met him, although I might actually wish some of my family left with him.

I think Tim Thomas has this level of whack-job potential.

but I don't care if he can stop the freaking puck for a year and it keeps us from overpaying for Lolowngoal.

“I was able to talk to (Leafs GM) Brian Burke and also Dave Nonis,” Brodeur said. “We had great conversations. Love the direction where they’re going.

“For me it could’ve been a fit but ultimately when Lou (Lamiorello) came back with that extra year, that made a big difference. They seemed like they were really interested. But I know that the organization is making the right steps for them.”

Good that at least the Leafs were pursuing it, although I think Brodeur is kinda done. Brodeur also said some positive stuff he didn't have to say.

Why can't we ever have a goalie like him, hell a player at any position like that.

I doubt it. Franson said he just wants playing time since he is a player that should be getting minutes and can get minutes for alot of teams not sitting in the pressbox for no reason when hes a good player.
